血液中的 IgE濃度是五種immunoglobulin中最低的。和mast cell, basophil, 或其他cell binding. (經由 IgE Fc-epsilon receptor (FceRI))

在成人的濃度通常 小於200 IU/mL ( 480 g/L).
大約50%的IgE是在extravascular space
